Evan Bogart set for Bravo's 'Hitmakers'

Evan Bogart (above) has been named an exec producer for new Bravo show "Hitmakers."

Show, currently in development, is an elimination competition searching for the nation's top singer-songwriter in every music genre. Casting is currently underway in Los Angeles, Atlanta, Nashville and New York City.

In each episode, the winning song will be revealed with a performance by a guest star. The winner of the series will receive a cash prize, publishing deal with Sony ATV and a development deal with The Writing Camp for RCA/JIVE.

Bogart says show is aiming for a fall launch, but no official date has yet been set.

David Quinones and Marvin Acuna are also onboard as exec producers. Additional show producers include Erika Nuri, Timothy Bogart, Steven Weinstock, Glenda Hirsch.
